Review: Oh yes, it's time to do those dreaded taxes once again. Preparing your taxes can be a frightening and frustrating experience. Now that I've found Turbo Tax, I no longer dread this time of year. It's a very easy program to acquire, use and understand. It's also safe and secure.
I use the basic package with the step-by-step help for my own personal taxes but there are different packages to fit anyone's needs. These packages include maximizing deductions, investments and using schedule C for home and business.
In the basic package, you are simply asked a number of questions. These are very basic things about your life and income. They are easy to understand and answer. With those answers, Turbo Tax then fills in your tax return.
Once the form is completed, Turbo Tax checks to make sure it is accurate. Any errors that are discovered are easy to fix and leave you knowing that your return is correct. When the form is complete, then it's easy to use e-file to file your taxes. It's also very fast and they tell you when you can expect your refund.
Turbo Tax has wonderful online support through the company and other Turbo Tax users. It also includes tools and tax tips to help you avoid any of those unwanted surprises.
