Review - Surviving Your Student Loans
Description: Surviving Your Student Loans is a book that details all the ins and outs of student loans. It is filled with facts about how to find the right student loan for you. It tells of how you can make student loans work for you now and in the future. Review: Student loans - everyone hears about them when it's time to start thinking about your child's college future. If you are like myself when you started to check into them you felt overwhelmed and more confused than when you started. With this book those worries will be a thing of the past. When I first picked this book up I thought it would be filled with information that I wouldn't understand. I was wrong. Not only was it easy to read and understand but the information was laid out in a way that made sense. It showed me all the different types of student loans that are available. Believe me there are more than any of us realize. Most of us believe a student loan can be paid off once we are out of school and into a steady job. That is not so. Many student loans require you start paying on them right away. There are some student loans that will be forgotten once you show you went into the field stated on the loan form. Not everyone knows that and most financial institutions don't carry those types of student loans, but they are out there. This book is full of facts not just probabilities. It shows where common mistakes are made when looking and applying for student loans and how to overcome them. It's all in plain easy to understand context that anyone can grasp. If your child, or you, is headed for college and want to take advantage of a student loan then definitely read this book. You won't be stressed out and feel like jumping into whatever sounds good at the time and hoping for the best. Getting a student loan can be easy and worthwhile without stress and financial worry, if you just know what to look for and how to go about it. Criticism: The only thing this book does not really go into is where to find student loans. There is a good reference area with a bit of helpful information in this area.
