This book is pretty plain and simple. It enlists 10 ways that a child from the age of 5 and up can understand and comprehend. Things such as building and sticking to a budget, spending money the right way and saving money, are available to help our children understand the importance of money in our lives.
Based around 10 basic skills, this book shows children the ins and outs of being responsible with their money. It's not a book that will teach children how to become wealthy by the age of 18. It is, however, a guide to helping children understand that they can be financially stable by using good judgement and learning positive money habits.
It is easy to read and understand so your children can take their time and from year to year learn new ways to be financially savvy. This will give your child the ability to be ready as an adult to face the financial challenges we all know are there. It even helps them to understand credit history and why that is one of the most important factors in being stable financially.
Best of all, this book points out that it doesn't matter how much money you have, you can still have a balanced financial situation. It's not the amount of money in your hand but what you do with money so it works for you. If you don't have this book I suggest you get it and keep it on the bookshelf until your children are on their own. It's a great book not only for our children but a great reference guide for everyone.
